This is not normal.
Donald Trump's election was a travesty, and his presidency threatens to be a tragedy. Americans of all stripes—even those who supported or stood aside for his candidacy—stand to suffer under the regressive, venal agenda of Trump and his administrative hangers-on.
So what comes next? We get through it, together. We fight the awfulness, together.
Because this is not normal, but these are the prevailing conditions. And we weather this storm by prevailing in opposition. We resist. We stand up together; we stand up with each other and we stand up for each other.
Resist. Be strong for each other. Be better than Trump. Be the America he doesn't deserve to lead. Be the rock his wave of hatred can't erode; be the forest left standing after the miasma of his presidency clears.
Fuck Trump. Let's take care of each other.
